Sunday July 26th. Alamitos Bay Yacht Club is located at the end of Ocean Blvd. at 72nd Place. There is a prepaid parking lot

of mine at Alamitos Bay Yacht Club as we were growing up. Very fun loving guy and a lot of fun to be around. We were still

As some of you may know...I played water polo at Wilson. After graduation I went to Long Beach City college and played with
Monte which was the Olympic coach. We won the Sate Championship. We had some Wilson guys on the team: Bob Bittick(still a
close friend), Dennis Merzel, Mike Keene. I played forward and goalie. Well, my grandson-Nick Wood just graduated from Newport
Harbor hi school where he was first string Goalie. Are you ready for this? The coach at City recruited him and he has been
accepted. Coach says he will be the starting goalie. Small world. And I am a proud grand pa. |
