Comments: Hotmailers specifically have not been receiving my emails--but several other ISPs are also blocking. If you get this you're in luck. Hotmail should be spanked for automatically blocking senders without your approval. d To remove addresses in your Blocked sender list: 1.Sign in to the Windows Live Hotmail website with your Windows Live ID (The user name and password that you use to sign in to any Windows Live, MSN, or Office Live sites and services. If you have a Passport Network, Hotmail, or Messenger account, you can use it as your Windows Live ID.) . 2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Options, and then click More options. Under Junk e-mail, click Safe and blocked senders. 3. Click Blocked senders. 4. In the Blocked senders list, select the name or domain (The part of an e-mail address that follows the @ sign, such as msn or hotmail.) that you now want to receive mail from, and then click Remove from List.

Comments: After 45 years of public service in state and local government, I retired in December 2006 and moved to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, to experience a new culture and to travel. During my brief stay here in Mexico, I have met many expats from all over the world with a broad interest that I find fulfilling. I'm looking forward to renewing old friendships at our 50th reunion in October 2007.

I'll risk it! Sorry I won't be able to be at the reunion this year, but it is great being brought up to date! Again--thanks, Doyle!

Hi, to everybody. Somebody notify me of '07 happin's, and I will have a chance to renew some old friendships--make new ones, too, maybe.

Comments: MAYES, GERRY LYNNE Gerry Lynne Mayes died at her home Aug. 2, 2005, with her husband, her children and close friends by her side. Gerry Lynne Girdner was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Big Spring, Texas. She graduated from Big Spring High School in 1957. In 1959 she married Buddy C. Mayes. After moving to El Paso, Texas, Gerry graduated from the University of Texas El Paso in 1961. In El Paso, Gerry taught and substituted in elementary school. In April of 1962, her first son, Brent was born and in September of 1965, her second son, Richard was born. In 1974 Gerry and her family moved to Oregon after substituting in Seattle and in 1976 Gerry earned her real estate license and sold homes in Aloha and Beaverton. Seeing that the real estate market was changing, Gerry started All About Travel in 1980 with the family's life savings and one employee. In 1982, the company transitioned from a retail travel agency to a wholesale agency, specializing in travel to Hawaii - All About Hawaii. 25 years later the company employs over 125 people and is in the top 150 privately held companies in the state of Oregon. Gerry enjoyed arts and crafts from painting to beading. She took great pride in her rose gardens. She is remembered as a lady with a special sense of humor to her closest friends. She loved the Hawaiian Islands and had many close friendships in Hawaii. She always thought of herself as a wife, a mother and teacher. Because of those values she was always more than just a boss to her employees. Gerry is survived by her husband Buddy; son Brent; son Richard and his wife Tamara and granddaughter Ainsley Mayes; brother Tom Girdner of Richmond, Va., and eight nieces and nephews.
