Comments: Yellow medicine review is a great literary magazine, everyone should have a copy on their shelves. I received my copy in May and its the first copy of the magazine I own and was ever published in. YMR is a journal of genuine thought. :)

Comments: Wow! So many gut-wrenching verbal images. I am amazed at the beauty these writers are able to craft from an abundance of ugly pain.

Comments: I am very happy that YMR gave me a voice in the Fall 2008 issue. We need more Indigenous journals such as YMR to give voice to Indigenous peoples so that we can be heard.

Comments: A magazine like this used to exist only in novels. But Judy Wilson and her team had made it a reality. How wonderful that writers from the margins have such a beautiful home for their works!

Comments: Ever since I first learned of Yellow Medicine Review I was drawn to its vision, and I have not once been disappointed. Perhaps I might be thought biased at this point, since I have been one of the editors ..... but this journal from its very inception has been one of the most beautiful and powerful literary journals that has been published in a very long time. The work in YMR is exquisite, brave, playful and yellow medicine-healing. I feel so committed to YMR and hope that it will be around for many years to come. It is for bringing people together through understanding .... maybe our next President will contribute something! Hey, I have a dream.
