I was a BT and worked in the hole. Bunked with the A gang. I remember Chief Smiley looked like Budda and Chief Derrick hard
nose but good guy. Both were always on my butt. I was not a very good sailor kind of a trouble maker didn't follow the rules.

To Dennis Potter I still have the leather sheath you made me for my CASE knife. The stitching gave out by the end of 1973

We had a little white car that sported a "Go Navy" bumper sticker. After a liberty weekend, I noticed someone had taken a
Sharpie and written the word "away" in between the "Go" and "Navy." On the next liberty weekend (this was before cell phones),
I told Dave someone had vandalized the car. He said, "Are you talking about the bumper sticker, because I did that." He may
have griped and complained about everything during those 2 years, but later on, the stories were lovingly told and retold
many times. He missed the Navy and we all still miss him. Hope to meet some of his shipmates at the reunion in October. |

My father I believe served on the USS Concord. Lou Bradley. He died after getting out of the service on 8 Aug 80. Is there
anyone who can shed some light on who he was as a man or if anyone has information on the rest of his family such as sibling
and parents. I was told growing up that he had a daughter that was born after his death. I would love to find her. He as
married to someone other than my mother just before his death. I have never met my sister and would love to. I have lost
