I just spoke to bob last nite.i saw the ad in the republican.my expired husband and I went to the blu when it was down by
the railroad tracks.we loved the [chicken in the basket] freddy and evelyn were good friends of ours,that was 1945.the boys,
Jackie,bobby. and George were little boys when we lived in Llewellyn. the marks families had several reunions there. the
olive garden says[when you're here you are familywell, we always felt like family when we were at [the blue tavern] in fact,
last year ,my oldest son was visiting up there from florida and stayed at the motel for two days. he said that the guys
were so nice in the restaurant bar.....it is ironic because he is the senior bartender for [jimmy buffet] at margaritaville,fl.
they have 42 bartenders, he's there since jimmy opened 13 yrhe knows good service. I just love the boys[freddy and evelyns'
I don't know Freda.we moved to Bernardsville ,n'j' and lived there for 30 yrs. and when my husband retired we moved to Casselberry,fl.

myself husband and son, came for Thanksgiving dinner, it was the worst holiday dinner Ive ever had, it cost us 55.00 for cafeateria
style plates, there was exactly two soon fulls of mashed potates and a slice of trkey with three spoonfuls of filling and
a soonful of sweet potatoes, i had to tell the waitress they only gave me a forkfull of turkey, the dessert was not even included
thats what we got for $13.95 a plate, I would not recomend that dinner to anyone I work 2 jobs and looked forward to a nice
dinner Ive never been that disapointed!!! |

Thanks to all at the Blu, our family had a GREAT experience staying at the Blu, all 3 rooms were just perfect, food was GREAT,
beer was cold, the staff was super--Jack, Bob, Bobby, THANKS for the wonderful stay-it was such a joy to see you all again!!!!!
