Portage South Baseball Coaching Staff,
My name is Scott Tipton and I am going to be a Senior at Calvin College (D-III) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have played the
past 3 years at Calvin and am heading into my final season. I was wondering if your team was in need of another position player.
I can play multiple positions including: LF/RF, 1B, C, and DH. I am an Akron native, and graduated from CVCA in Cuyahoga Falls
in 2008 where I was an all-conference catcher and a two year captain. More recently, I've started for Calvin since my sophomore
year and played a wide variety of positions including C/DH/RF. My sophomore season I started over 20 games at C/DH while hitting
.325 in conference play, and this past season I started 29 games in RF while hitting .290 in conference play and was selected
as a co-captain. Next season I will be converting to 1B and DH'ing when I'm not playing in the field.

We are looking into playing an alumni game before the reverse raffle. Past players vs. some of the current ones. Anyone
interested in playing just let us know. We will be recognizing the Wall of Fame classes from 2008 and 2009 at the raffle
