Comments: Nice to see people remember the best league in the world. Still a big Monarchs fan. Never forget the 92 season. Somehow even better than 91. William Kirksey, I was there to see you pick off that pass. I'll see what I have in my memorabillia of that day.

Comments: I can't pull up your e-mail. Switches to my e-mail account but the address is blank. I got to be friends with Raj Bhathal, owner of the Thunder. Went to World Bowl II. I have the Official 1992 Fact Book, World Bowl Media Guide and game program. They're all in pretty good shape. What do you think the market is for these?

Comments: My dad was a big surge fan. He has a signed Surge helmet that was even signed by the owner of the team, Fred Anderson. He also has unused game tickets and a game used jersey of Pete Najarian [spelling). The one thing he is looking for that was lost was the video game footage of the World Bowl when the Surge won. He was hoping you had that film. By the way your collection is very impressive, congrats.I hope you like the picture he took of his Surge helmet in front of the capitol building. Well it's nice knowing someone else is such a big fan. Take care. By the way would you like to trade or sell any of your items such as your Surge team colored cap

Comments: Great site! Was a huge London Monarchs fan back when they played at Wembley - the first season was one of the best sporting events I have experienced. It was a great shame they suspended in 1992 - it was never the same after that. Would be happy to hear from anyone who wants to discuss these great memories! Have some videos somewhere if anyone is interested.

Comments: I am originally from Birmingham and enjoyed going to Fire games in 1991-92. I can't say I went to every home game, but saw about 2-3 per season, including the Fire's debut. In college I worked for the Samford University Football team in Bham, which was, at the time, coached by former Fire coaches, including Pete Hurt, Mike O'toole and Richard Koehler. Chan Gailey coached for one year before returning to the NFL, at which time Hurt took over as coach. Just reflecting and thought I would google the old WLAF. Thanks!

Comments: I have liked the San Antonio Riders from the Start of WLFootball and was very upset when the NFL stoped it and reformed it in the NFLE but with out the American Teams. I would love to see the NFL bring all the WL American Teams back and but them into the NFL today. I love the site please keep it up. And also maybe we can try and get a poll going as who would like to see the Riders, Knights, Glory, Surge, Thunder, Skyhawks, and also some other teams from yesteryear come back.
