Comments: Response to Cate: My use of the word "simple" in summary was intended as rhetorical irony. That's where you state something is "simple" and follow with a definition that is contrary, that is, not simple at all. So, please don't feel sad. Keep writing those extensive notes on your study guides and expressing your insightful observations at the home meeting. That makes me smile.

Comments: what you do, is by no means simple. Inspiration, challenging thought, progressive ideas...just to name a few of the things i walk away with every Sunday after hearing you speak. There is nothing simple about any of those things. I know what you do takes so much effort and is not as plain as just standing up there for 30 mins trying to keep people engaged. You are a part of something greater than what you do on sunday mornings. In reading your blog it made me sad to think that you view that as simple.

Comments: Karlyne I wish I could have been there to hear you in person but I listened online and I really enjoyed it. I appreciated your experience from your daily devotions and how much it meant to you. Sharing personal things like this are what help others feel like they can keep going too. I hope to see you up there again soon.

Comments: I liked your views on prosperity. I'm not wealthy in $$$ but I always have enough. God is good.

Comments: In response to your comments entitled "Shoot The Messenger". The only thing I could add is it seems our culture tends to foster the attitude of not dealing with things in hopes it will just go away or that’s so far away it really doesn’t affect me.. This also gives room for the loud and brainless to grab the media spotlight. The church has, for a long time, stood silent on issues it should be leading the way to solve. But as an individual I almost feel too minuscule and helpless to make a difference. What resources do I have to solve the problems of the world? (Rhetorical?) I guess the first step is accepting and realizing there is a problem.
