Comments: I was looking for information on advanced generation lutea hybrids and found your site. Wonderful information and stupendous pictures. This is the first year that I have seeds from peonies, all herbaceous, in the fridge to pot in the spring. Your information will really help give them the best chance to germinate and survive. Wish you were still updating as it appears that 2009 is the last update.

Comments: Don, Your lecture Tuesday night(3/1/11)for the MMGA was fantastic. I have since gone on the Monrovia site to check what they have coming out that may be from your breeding. Happy to see there are at least four, maybe five and they do mention you. I have sent along this link I hope you will be able to open it and view these: http://www.monrovia.com/plant-catalog/search.php?query=itoh I also meant to ask you at the end of the lecture if one of your photos was taken from Cricket Hill Garden in CT? I have been there once and was truly amazed at how magnificent those plants were in full bloom! I checked the lateral side buds on the stems that were not cut flush to the ground on the intersectionals from Monrovia and yes, because the plants were overwintered in a unheated greenhouse yet protected from the harsh winter the buds are viable and wanting to grow now!
