Rules concerning gears in F1 and stock car. The rules read "any gear or gear ratio may be used. Crown gears must be commercially
available....". At what point did this become a 48 pitch only rule? Are 64 pitch gears allowed? Are metal gears allowed? If
not why is the word ANY used? Mike(firstmjg@yahoo.com) An E-mail replay would be helpful. |

It sure is nice having a hobby where no one is causing trouble. Today I guess their may be little purpose of teaching/learning
the use of meters and so on. Tom Thumb in Columbus seems like the closest track if I ever get started. I will not ruin a track
with tire goop like I once did in the 60's. |

It looks like retro or Parma cars is the easiest way to get back in for me. No help getting going at my advanced age now of
60 but I would rather be of this crowd than what I see on the news. Sure wish I had my Manta Ray, Banshee and Cheetah and
others once again. |
