Your comments HEllo Dear! A day has not passed that you haven't been missed. It continues to amaze us at the power and influence you have had and made on the people you met in your life. In 19 short years you made an incredible mark in this world. There is a little bit of you in everyone we have in our lives now. Your presence here is as if you had never left. We have all become "Chicken Fried" and we love it....We Love You! PS Could you pay special attention to Bridget when she is behind the wheel..I am sure she has given you some pretty good laughs already!

Your comments Hi Jimmy, Elizabeth and I are off to our mission trip to Mississippi. Please watch over us and send some positive thoughts our way as we head into 100 degree weather with 90% humidity. We miss you so much and still have a hard time accepting that your journey ended the way it did. We know you are at ultimate peace and happiness in heaven but selfishly we want you back here. Think of you everyday and have the entire Camp Asquam sending a prayer up to you whenever we hear Chicken Fry. Until we see you again we will do as you asked and Keep living the dream...just help us to do so. Love forever Aunt Kate xo

Ally was singing, Alex on drums and his friend, Stephen, on guitar and vocals as well....and Chicken Fried was their song of choice...filling the house with song and laughter. It reminded us of you and we felt your vibes. I am grateful for that. Thinking about you lots. Keep sending us the signs that you are doing well on the other side of the waterfall. Your comments Dearest Jimmy, We think of you every day, but especially today on the most special Catholic holiday of Easter. Today, we are reminded that you live forever with Jesus. Not a day goes by that we don't get that urge to send you a text from Fairport. You were always so good about texting us back. Even when you were tired, you always wrote back! We had very important conversations via text, about American Idol, Sara Palin, Blackberries and favorite pies. We are so greatful for those simple moments. Like your mom, we too wish for a text from heaven! Thank you for the lessons you taught us. We try to be better because of you. Miss you, Love, The Martens xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Your comments Hey Jimbo, you would be loving it at Gonzaga right now. So many people are outside playing frisbee and whatnot!!!!! It is so beautiful! I sat by the river for a while today and just soaked up as much sun as I could! I could not help but smile hoping you were enjoying it as much as I was. Your "Live the Dream team" won by the way, thought you would be proud of us! When your name came on the screen for reasons why we relay, the song "Maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow" by wideawake was playing. Such a good song, it will forever remind me of you! I agree with your mom, a nice postcard from Heaven would be nice... Miss you tons!

Your comments Jimmy would say but I am here everyday. I am the strength that gets us up each day and helps you move forward even though you can't make sense of this at all. I am the love that is shared and sent your way from friends, family and strangers from all over. I am the beautiful bird that flies by the window of church right when you are ready to break down and be so angry. I am the inspiration that leads my friends to carry on the battle in the Relay for Life and helps you to be a better person and "Live the Dream." But most of all I am reflected in you as you continue to be the most wonderful mother, wife and friend who helps so many through your faith, courage and love to understand that I am totally happy and watching over everyone each minute of the day.

Where do you think Dan should go next year? Steve told Meaghan all about his new girlfriend. Your comments Hey McGann team, I have been thinking a lot about you lately and just wanted to reiterate how amazing your son was. Everyday I wake up remembering that he was in my dream, and then I'll walk to class past Campion and just laugh. Usually twice a day a song that reminds me of him will come on at an unexpected time and I know its him. I was looking on his facebook last night and almost a year ago, he had a countdown until Saint Patricks day! What a true irishmen he was to have such a dedicated countdown. I can't wait to see you guys again and I'm sure your staying busy with the lacrosse and dance stuff. love you all!

Your comments Jimbo, Dude I miss you so unbelieveably much. These last couple months have been crazy without you...So many things have happened that I wish we could laugh about together. You always had a way of making things so happy, and so freaking funny...when we are all together up here in Spokane, and everyone starts laughing, I know it's because you are cracking some ridiculous jokes. Or maybe just rolling your eyes at us. Either way, its nice to know that you are nearby. Stay close okay? Everyone still really needs your strength and faith. I love you and miss you terribly. Your comments Happy Birthday Jimmy!! Elizabeth and I were watching your video on Facebook last night- Never Had a Dream Come True. You sense of humor and singing skills brought us to tears laughing and missing you at the same time. Boy did you love life ... you just exuded happiness. We loved the part when you sing, "a part of me we always be with you'. We felt like that was such a gift to hear you sing that. We spent the day watching the slide show that Bridget made for you, touching your quilt, looking through your photo albums and listening to stories about your crazy Regis and Zag friends! It was like sitting on a big comfy couch with you. You and your family are loved in Fairport just as much in 2009 as when you moved away in 2000. I know that you saw all of your classmates, teachers, neighbors and coaches filling up that big room. What a beautiful tribute to you and your family. Pride, admiration, inspiration all come to mind, but they do not capture how truly in awe of you I am. Just look at the wonderful impact you have on everyone around you, the love we all feel for you, and the joy your everlasting memory brings to everyone. You are truly blessed, and we are all the better because of you, from seeing your gentle kindness to witnessing your indomitable spirit. May you truly be in peace, resting in the palm of God's hand until we meet again. Your comments Dear Jim,Mary Kay,Danny,Bridget,& Meaghan, We are all so saddened by the loss of your son and brother. What an amazing young man! In his few short years he has brought more people to Christ and also to renew their faith in HIM by his strong faith and example. Some people don't even do that in there lifetime. He is cradled in Our Lords comforting arms and he is pain free. You have an angel that is always watching over you. I feel that because of Jimmy's illness a cure will be found to help others with this devastating disease. So his work continues on in the world of science. He will be in our daily prayers and continue to be an inspiration to us. My the The Lord comfort you in your days ahead. The Kelly's

That line includes Mr. and Mrs. McGann, Bishop McGann, Uncle Joe, and the six kids, Mary Kay, Kathleen, Jimmy, Kevin, Sharon and Regina. Anyone who reads this knows what great people they are. And Jimmy was part of that long line. Our condolences to the entire family. Rest in peace, Jimmy.

Your comments Jim, MaryKay, Danny, Bridget and Meaghan, We were so very sadden to hear of Jimmy's passing. We have followed his journey and had prayed it would have been a longer one. Conor had kept us updated over the last several months. The kids from St. John's were a special group. They have a bond that has lasted through time and distance, even if they have not seen each other for years. Please know we have had both Jimmy and the family in our thoughts and prayers and continue to do so. Since you moved, every time I pass your old house I think of you all and say hi! God blessed you with a wonderful family, and many caring friends. They will be your support, and Jimmy your special angel now. Our love and prayers, Kevin, Kathy and Conor

Your comments James!! So I def took a shot of Jack for you last night. And it was probably the most terrible thing I've ever had. No chaser. Just for you. I miss you so much but no lies, everyday something reminds me of you and I have to give a chuckle. Like a certain girl I keep seeing that frightened us. I'm pretty sure you're screwing with me and timing it so I see her everywhere now. Oh and I went to dinner with Jill, Elie, Alex, and Andrew. Elie broke out the Bess card on Jill. Then he proceeded to moo. Jill and I looked at each other and said that was a Jimmy. I love you so much Jimmy!! Thank you for being in my life. Stay by my side. I can't wait to see you again (lyrics from a Miley Cyrus song...I know how much you love her. Almost as much as Zac Efron). I'll chat it up with you later. I miss you more than you could know!! All my love. Oh and don't stop being with all of us, especially your amazing Regis family and your fam bam. I hear they're pretty amazing.

Your comments Jimmy and family, I have been reading your journey page and your website for the past month. You are such an inspiration and angel to have endured all with such strength. I am a nurse, and can only imagine the adoration your nusing staff had for you. You handled this game of life with strength, and dignity. Your family had given you the tools to survive and push on. You will use that skill in heaven to watch over your beloved family. May you know that many are praying for you and your family. May God Bless you all, and may your lessons of strength remain in all our souls.

Your comments To the McGann Family, I am Patrick's eldest sister. My kid brother is my entire heart, so there is a lot of love for Jimmy inside me. Thank you for for Jimmy. He meant the world to Patrick and he was special. This world is a less bright place for his absence. Dear Jimmy, Thank you for being a great friend to Patrick. I was hoping you'd get to move into the suite soon. So now, instead of Patrick waiting for you to come back, please wait for Patrick to come back. He'll find you again, but until then...can you please keep an eye on him for me? I am so sorry that this baseball game didn't go your way, but you made it Home. May God's Peace be with you. To Jimmy and the McGann family, may God hold you in the palm of His Hand.

Your comments Hey bro. I keep coming here to write something and never can. Written words seem arbitrary when I want to talk to you. I guess I just wanted to say that I miss you Jimbo and that I don’t like you not being here. I miss you a lot. But I guess you are here. I just have to get better at wrapping my head around it. Its different. This weekend, and hopefully forever, I was surrounded by so many people that loved you so much. I love them all. I love you too. I hope you know that. Peter, Zach, Caitlin and your family played black magic the other night. Peter tried to cheat by asking me. Jerk. That game sucks. Anyway, I was just thinking about you. I’m always thinking about you lately. I know I always will. It makes me a better person. Thank you brother. Say hey to Tommy V for me. Talk soon.

Your comments Hey Jimmy! Just wanted to say how much I missed you and how it really is incredible how many people you have impacted. After the trip to CO, seeing all of the people you inspired and hearing stories about you, I made a pact with myself to live like you lived. You are such an inspiration. I am so sorry I didn't make it out to CO earlier but I know, in time, we will all see you again. So see you up there. I love you cousin. -MB xoxo

Your comments Hello Dear....I know where you are and I know you are happy but we all can't shake the fact that you aren't here with us. We hear your voice and still talk like you are sitting with us. Did you see all those people who came to help us send you off....was that not the most amazing funeral you have ever been to! How cool was the dove that flew out of the tree at the cemetary...Uncle Steve promises to go to church after witnessing that! Maybe he will finally learn the Hail Mary! Oh, yeah...Pat IS great...but he shared more than you probably would have liked! We miss you so much but will be "OK" because we know you are not far. Love you Forever! PS...I found your IPOD

I just read his website on his continuued fight for the past several months. We talk about your family often, even after we moved your family legacy lives in our home. Our hearts and prayers go out to you. Jimmy was such a wonderful boy and my kids still follow in his example. He will always be remembered for the lives he touched. Your comments Dear Jim, Mary Kay, Danny, Brigid, and Megan: We were so sorry to hear of Jimmy's death on Tuesday of this week. We were part of the many who devoted daily prayer for the return of good health for Jimmy. On Wednesday, our prayers turned to a request for eternal rest for him. The Magnificat suggested readings for January 14th were for the Mass for the Sick. The opening prayer in part reads "Hear the prayers we offer for our sick brothers and sisters. May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realize that they are chosen to be saints, and know that they are joined to Christ in his suffering for the salvation of the world..." In time, maybe we will begin praying to Jimmy, who has surely won a place in heaven, to intercede for us. God bless you and comfort you in your sorrow.

Your comments McGann Family, I can't tell you how much my heart goes out to you all. Words just are not enough to show how much I will be thinking of you and praying that somehow you get through these difficult times together. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. I loved Jimmy as a baseball player and as young man. I will always have such fond memories of him. I was always impressed by his goodness and loving heart. His kindness and happiness seemed to glow from within him. I will never forget his smile...He had a great smile. In the short time time I have know him, he has touched my life and has made it brighter. I will miss him until that time we meet again, but his memories will forever be with me. Your comments Dear McGann Family - You have been in our thoughts and prayers during the many challenges you've faced this past year and you will continue to be in them in the days and weeks ahead. With Jimmy's passing your family lost a beloved son and brother; others lost a friend, teammate or co-worker; but we all have lost a quality young man who modeled for us how to lead a full life with enthusiasm, strength, faith and dignity. In a life cut far too short, Jimmy obviously touched the lives of many - may that impact keep his memory alive in all of us. Jimmy you fought the good fight - may you now rest in peace. Mary Kay and Jim - may you take comfort knowing of that peace.
