Just wanted you to know that the Laffey apparel purchased for my husband and myself (ordered by Linda Gehrum) are great.
We gave George his for Christmas and he was thrilled with them, he has wanted them for a long time. And we received the corrected
size sweatshirt for myself last week. Everything fits very well. The only thing that we would like to see changed is the
style of the baseball cap to something a little more up to date, would even consider purchasing another if this were done.
Also, wonder if you have ever considered attending one of the Laffey reunions? Don't know if you have ever been invited
to show your merchandise, but think it would give you more business from the "Laffey crew", especially if they could see
the merchandise and compare sizes, etc. You could contact Sonny Walker, president of the Laffey Association, if you are at
all interested.

My ship offered orders for polo shirts with ship's logo for an upcoming reunion. The shirt I received was well constructed.
The logo and silouette of the ship was embroidered, not a decal. Very clean. I'd gladly recommend Mary's work for any of

Mary, Thank you so much with all your help in doing the "Memorial Clothes" for the family of Lt.J/G David M. Holmes, Diver
off the USS "Sunbird" who back in Jan 1961 did the first dive that went into the USAF Texas Tower #4, "Old Shaky" and spotted
the body of M/SGT. Roald Bakke floating on the ceiling of the Radio Room and pulled him out and sent him up to be retrived
by the whale boat rescue from the USS Wasp. There is a full story about this and I will get it on my web site www.texastower.org
sometime within the next week or so. The whole family should be getting the clothes the middle of this week. Thanks again,

Thanks again for getting the hat to us on such short notice. Although Jeff's Navy and Forrest Sherman years were a long time
