Comments: I brought my well loved but badly beaten up and finally broken at the chainstay Raleigh Technium to Anthony Mezzatesta on the recommendation of Jerry at Kraynick's who said that he was a man who does very, very good work, and "doesn't charge enough for it". In my case, it was a minor repair, and the charge was nominal. Except what did I get for it? Well, not only does the repair site look better than the tubing/paint did originally, but Anthony went ahead and corrected half a dozen other things too... just because he noticed and he cared. I hesitate to even mention this, it's truly unfair to expect. I share because I think it reflects the mindset. This is someone who, like Jerry, does what he does for the love of it. People like that deserve your business.

Comments: Anthony, good to see you are still into building a great bike. You may not recall but I purchased frame #091 from you back in about 1987 or so when you were still in the Hudson Valley. A wonderful ride on Vitus tubing that I still ride several days each week. Its my main road bike even with the downtube shifters, but what a comfortable and responsive ride. I'm happy to see you have been able to follow your passion. Jerry

Comments: Hi Anthony, Pleasure meeting and talking to you briefly during breakfast at the Hampton Hotel Sunday morning. As promised I have visited your website and the gallery of pics is just extroadinary. Lots of ornate lug work as well as simple clean designs. Prices are ridiculously low compared to current crop of builders but I guess you have to have a queue in order to charge their prices. Wish I knew you were still building otherwise i'd would've looked you up. My steel rides are a Sachs, Serotta CSi, Kelly Bedford road and fixed gear. If I decide to get another steel frameset I will definitely give you a shout. I'll do my best to spread your work around to the masses. Best, Tommie

Comments: I have been looking for a while for someone who could fix my vintage Ross Super Grand Tour XV and so glad I was told about you. We stopped over to your garage to drop off my frame and started talking about frames for quite some time. I was amazed at your knowledge and how neat a fellow you are. It was a great conversation I had with you and enjoyed the time immensely. From you scale frame drawings on the walls, to your frame jig and paint booth what a cool operation. It was super great to meet you. Take Care Anthony Wayne & Jared

I currently live in Charleston, WV and I work for a church where I for the last two years have connected my faith with bikes. I started a shop at the church where I fixed and empowered others to fix their bikes. I don't have any professional experience, but would love to find out how I could continue my love for God and passion for fixing bicycles like you! If you have any advice on how someone would get started that would be much appriciated! Robby Peterson
