A Royal Standard celebrating His Reign!

My name is Charlotte Jean Todd Leonard. Since 2007, I have been creating, painting, and shipping Jesus bannerflags to worshippers all over the world. As these bannerflags traveled the nations, they worked through simple hands—touching lives, changing hearts, and drawing people closer to God. This ministry is built upon a deep foundation of scriptural accuracy and prophetic intercession.
After many years of stewarding Raised Praise, my husband, Terry, and I both wondered: When would it be our turn to move out and minister God's love by lifting His name?
In 2015, God placed a deep vision in my heart concerning our home state of Mississippi.
It was a scripture describing Mississippi as a willow by water courses: Isaiah 44:1–4"Yet now hear, O Jacob My servant, and Israel whom I have chosen: This is what the Lord who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you, says:
'Fear not, O Jacob My servant; and Jeshurun (Israel, the upright one) whom I have chosen. For I will pour out water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring, and My blessing on your descendants; and they will spring up among the grass like willows by water courses.'
Why Israel Hung Their Harps on the Willows
In Psalm 137, we read: "We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof."
During this time, Israel was in Babylon—captive, grieving, and broken. Their captors mockingly demanded they sing "the songs of Zion."Instead, they chose to use the willow as a witness.
By hanging their harps on the willows, Israel attached their source of joy (their heart) to The living God that they would be planted by the living springs of life.
That in their waiting His breath would move through them once again. Rather than an act of permanent defeat, this was a moment of expectant waiting, trusting that God’s covenant promises remained alive even in exile. The Connection to Mississippi Spiritually and Historically
Mississippi has carried a heavy spiritual weight—a sense of being "what is low." By bringing the sounds of joy and these banners back to the land, Terry and I are taking the harps off the willows. We are breaking the spirit of exile and declaring that Mississippi owns its soil-land, soul, and its deep roots in God.
This is the heart of our prophetic decree: We are moving from silence back to vibrant praise as the ultimate sign of breaking captivity. We are decreeing saying, "We redeem this land back to God in JESUS name."
Scripturally, God consistently chooses the lowly, the dry ground, and the hidden places to pour out His greatest glory.
By declaring restoration over a land that has historically known grief, we are stepping into the biblical truth that God faithfully turns our dry ground into rushing rivers of revival.

When I first began creating word bannerflags many people felt they seemed silly, inappropriate, and unnecessary. However, waving banners helped me express emotion I could not otherwise convey, and I wondered if they might help others too. The concept of using declarative word banners held high as a spiritual declaration was unfamiliar to most people at the time. We were pioneering word bannerflags in those days. A Royal Standard Was BornA royal standard is more than silk on a pole.Banners are not a modern concept. They are rooted in biblical typology. The frequent use of banners in Old Testament scripture serves as a prophetic foreshadowing of the cross: An ultimate reign, dominion, authority, and Kingship over the earth. The banner of the Old Testament is a prophetic symbol -promise of His reign finalized on the cross, a historical fulfillment that we as His people proclaim saying: Come, Lord JESUS, Come! And we do it through BANNERFLAGS!
