Comments: Hello! I am really enjoying your website. My partner and I are from Canada. We are the relatively new owners of an HC 33 and are in the process of tackling the many boat jobs needed to get our boat up to snuff. It would be great if we could pick your brain about several of the boat jobs you undertook on Re Metau. Please let us know if you would be interested in sharing some more details and the best way to communicate with you. In particular, we would be interested in finding out where you were able to source out some of the needed parts. Thanks!

SoulVoyage SoulVoyage is offline seeker of wonder Join Date: May 2010 Location: Where the oceans have no address. Posts: 48 Rep Power: 0 SoulVoyage is on a distinguished road Any AA/AAA battery chargers that are 12 volt? Hi. I am wondering if anybody out there has come across a AA and AAA battery charger that runs on 12 volt DC? I use a lot of AA and AAA batteries for things like headlamps and portable GPS units and portable stereos. I like using the new Li-Ion rechargeable batteries in those sizes, yet the only chargers I ever find are 110 volt AC....no good under sail. Environmentally, I don't like throwing away non-rechargeable AAs and AAAs, and yet having to run an inverter just to charge small batteries that are already DC, is equally annoying. There HAS to be some 12 volt DC small battery chargers out there, but I've come across exactly ZERO. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would like a 12 volt DC charger. Anybody have any luck?? __________________ "...and a star to steer her by."

I rented a slip in Michigan for summer 2010, but yet to own a vessel to fill it. I have done my due diligence to find the "proper" vessel over the past 8 months over the internet, and heading out next week (with no real time limit) to find it. Though it is probably too small for me and my family, there is a HC33 in pristine condition in Michigan. One that is not unlike yours now that you have brought her up to bristol. I would love if you would write me back and tell me your likes and dislikes of the HC33. Yours in belief and hopes, Bill
