Comments: I am a descendant of James the 5th. I like to find information on the internet and add it to my site. So that the person becomes real to those who read my Ancestry on Ancestry.com. I was searching for information on James the 5th and happened upon your site. It was very interesting. I have English Kings in my lineage as well and can trace that side back as far as Odin 215 AD. In America I have approximately 6 ancestors that fought in the Revolutionary War. 1 that came to America on the May Flower. Eventually, we just blended in and are just ordinary every day people living out our lives. I have always loved history and love digging into the past. Abner Sikes is a relative as well as Mary Bliss Parsons. (she was tried as a witch in Hamptom MA twice and acquitted) She had the first English baby born in Hampton.

Comments: Hello My name is William Stewart Jackson and I have just come across your posting to the Girvan online website and then to your Stewarts website. I have no idea if we are related but my Grandmother was Agnes Stewart (1876-1961). She was born in Campbeltown, Argyll, Scotland to Angus Stewart (1843-1892) and Jean McKinven (1843). Angus' parents were John Stewart (1813) and Agnes Martin (1812) who were also born in Campbeltown. My Grandmother married Robert William Jackson at Kinning Park, Lanark, Scotland in 1903. My Grandfather Robert was born and raised in Girvan. Robert and Agnes emigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1909. My Father, John Stewart Jackson was born in Ottawa in December, 1909. As I indicated, I have no idea whether or not we are connected but please feel free to reply if you feel we may be somehow related. William (Bill) Jackson Gatineau, Quebec, Canada retired@storm.ca
