Comments: Very nice website you have made. My grandfather, Carlos Earl Ruth, said he was a second cousin to Babe. I've been unable to find a genealogy link, but the folks at the Ruth family reunion in southern Ohio believe it so. I've always admired the Babe and hope his number is retired, too! Thanks for this site.

I can never stop reading about Mr.Ruth or trying to get more info about him. He gives hope to those who come from humble back grounds. I always pray for Mr.Ruth when I visit the monuments at Yankee stadium. God bless you all.

Comments: Hi Linda. You would not remember me but I met you and your husband at the Alex & Ani jewelry store in Newport, R.I. You gave me your card. I thought I lost it, but just found it. Congratulations on a great website. I especially love the old pictures. There is no question that the Babe is/was the greatest baseball player of all time and his number should be retired. All you have to do is look at his home run totals per year compared to all others of his generation. No one came close. I don't have the information handy but I remembered looking at statistics on Babe's number of home runs per number of at bats. Compared to his contemporaries, he was in a class by himself. Keep up the good work. It was great to meet you and I hope you get a chance to visit our little corner of the world sometime soon. Andy
