Comments: Hi, Kathy. Glad to get a look at your site. Also glad not to have to travel. Tourette's Syndrome boy's mother's effort to "mainstream" her son came at the expense of the others in the theatre. Balancing her son's rights and theirs is not easy. Son behaved best of the bunch.

Comments: A special friend of mine recently told me she celebrated her 50th birthday by giving away 50 roses. I thought this was a beautiful idea. In honour of this, for the next year leading up to my 40th birthday I’ve decided to send 40Thank You cards to 40 friends, old & new, to let you know how grateful I am for your friendship, however long or brief. In some way they've touched my heart. I decided to do an internet search on the words 'touched my heart'.. your site was the first site to come up. Wbat a gift! Thankyou!

Comments: Hi Kathleen, I like your inclusion of the Simple Acts of Kindness Blog. I would like to share an experience with you. Years ago, while I was a new immigrant to this country, I was taking the subway to Manhattan during rush hour when I fainted. It was a very crowded train, and I was standing with a big bag pack and handbag. The people were very kind to me; some helped me to a seat, one got my back pack, and yet another got my handbag. People were offering me water, candy and more. However, I was feeling miserable. I was in the first car so the driver would not start the train again, and I felt bad about making everyone late for work. After 10 minutes, a man offered to take me home so the train could resume its trip. He took me home in a taxi and would not let me pay the fare.
